剧情以现今女性身兼多职，既要照顾家庭又要兼顾事业，面对社会标准、迫人生活及舆论压力，女性往往承受很多不必要的压力为主题。《熟女强人》透过七个女性去探讨及穿梭一些大胆的话题，包括雪卵、争抚养权、同性恋、性上瘾、换妻、爸爸去哪儿及脱单等等。

《钢铁年代》是由山东影视集团制作，孔笙执导，陈宝国、冯远征、姜宏波、张译、谢钢联袂主演的年代大戏，也是金牌编剧高满堂继《闯关东》、《北风那个吹》后的又一力作。 该剧讲述了一群小人物扎根鞍钢，在各种不利的条件下顽强克服困难建设鞍钢的故事，还原了新中国成立初期鞍钢建设发展的历史。陈宝国扮演的尚铁龙和冯远征扮演的杨寿山是一对谁也离不开谁的“欢喜冤家”，从解放前一直斗争到解放后。 该剧于2011年1月1日登录北京卫视、天津卫视、山东卫视、河南卫视四大卫视黄金档播出。
