简介
本片真实再现了披头四乐队成员的保罗（加里•贝克威尔 饰）的爱情神话。上个世纪六十年代末，英国摇滚乐队披头四乐队风靡世界，美国的杂志摄影师琳达奉命为前来美国演出的披头四乐队拍照。就这样，她邂逅了披头四乐队的成员麦凯尼•保罗。两日一见钟情，很快堕入爱河。保罗不顾琳达是单亲母亲的身份和歌迷们的强烈反对，和琳达步入了婚姻殿堂。然而，婚后的保罗事业开始下滑，一方面是由于歌迷的原因，另一方面是因为他和披头四的主唱列农不和。在保罗事业进入低潮的时候，琳达依然不离不弃，陪伴着保罗一起走过漫漫长路……
