It combined elements of American Gladiators - inspired athletic competition with scripted antics more reminiscent of professional wrestling. The series was filmed at the Los Angeles Sports Arena and produced by Columbia TriStar Television. In a Temple filled with lost treasures and protected by mysterious Mayan temple guards, six teams of two children compete to retrieve one of the historical artifacts in the Temple by performing physical stunts and answering questions based on history, mythology, and geography. After three elimination rounds, only one team remains, who then earns the right to go through the Temple to retrieve the artifact within three minutes and win a grand prize.

Each game will test their memories of the night before and they'll have to rely on one another's stamina, clear thinking, emotional stability and iron stomachs if they want to be crowned winners. It is the Greek version of the game show "The Weakest Link". The host of the first and second seasons was Elena Akrita, while in the third season the host's position was taken by Tasos Tryfonos.

Jet Lag: The Game is a travel competition show where instead of traveling to the competitions, travel is the competition. Each season brings a new game where the world is the board, with players competing against each other, sleep deprivation, flight delays, broken-down cars, and the bizarre challenges they quickly regret having created.
